Master Suite/Garage Addition
He wanted a bigger garage; she wanted a new master bedroom. CK Builders was able to give them both what they wanted and a whole lot more. We dug a basement extension and connected the two which gave them a new game room with walkout patio and waterfall, an office, and a gym. We installed a suspended slab garage floor which gave him a two-car garage with room to tinker. On the exterior we added cultured stone to tie the addition into the existing home, re-colored the stucco, and extended the stone coated metal roofing system. This addition has many bells and whistles that are elegant space savers.

Small Home Remodel/Addition
With aging parents who needed a little more care, these homeowners went from empty nesters to caregivers needing space that was not only functional but also main floor living. CK Builders created a home that incorporated the existing structure and by adding on, gave them the much-needed mother-in-law apartment. We added a two-car garage to the west of the existing home, connected the old basement with a new family room, guest room, storage area, and guest bath. Remodeled the main floor by moving the kitchen and installing new cabinets/countertops, created a dining room, moved the laundry area upstairs, and expanded the existing living room. We added a mother-in-law apartment with separate entrance to the northeast side of the home that included a kitchen, living room, master bedroom and bath with walk-in tub/shower combo, and laundry area. On the exterior we installed new windows and foam board insulation for more resale value; built a wraparound porch; installed stone wainscot, vinyl siding, soffit, fascia, and rain gutters finishing the project with a lifetime stone coated steel roof.

Small Home Remodel/Addition
This couple bought this 2nd home as an investment knowing that their friends and family would be visiting often. Located in the north central Montana, this home away from home provides an escape from big city life. The original floor plan was functional but had some issues like a cracked basement floor that allowed water to penetrate on high water years. CK Builders worked with the homeowner to bring it up to date and give them the extra space they were wanting. We removed the existing basement floor digging to the existing footings. We added a sump system and gravel followed by a new concrete basement floor. We removed the small 2’X3’ windows and installed new windows to meet egress codes. We dug an addition 16 ft off of the back of the home to add a basement and main living addition. The basement was redesigned to have four bedrooms, a bathroom, family room w/ kitchenette, and storage area. The stairs were relocated to a new main floor dining room. A new mud room was added as well as a master bedroom extension with a new master bath. The existing laundry and kitchen were updated as well as all of the existing bedrooms and bathroom. The living room was also remodeled. The inside of this home received a complete overhaul complete with new wiring, plumbing, water purification system, and insulation. The exterior of this home was also upgraded with a two-car garage addition, new windows, an EFIS stucco system, cultured stone, new chimney, garage doors, soffit, fascia, raingutters, new stone coated steel roofing, and new driveways. CK Builders also completed the exterior of their shop by installing new steel insulated siding, soffit, fascia, raingutters, and a stone coated steel roof. While the couple is still in the process of landscaping, they are enjoying their home away from home.

Carport Addition
This homeowner was tired of shoveling snow during the winter months and requested a carport be added to his home. CK Builders drew up the plans and worked with the city for approval. The end result was a 14’ X 40’ carport complete with soffit lid, fascia, beam wraps, and gutters. The house also received a new metal panel roofing system to match. The homeowner is very happy he no longer has to shovel the snow and can now assist the neighbors instead.

This homeowner was seeking a Tudor inspired exterior. CK Builders removed the outdated tombstone windows and installed an energy efficient oversized picture window, removed the siding around the house and updated it with a new stucco system, added cultured stone to the front bay, installed Tudor style rough cut beams in the garage gable and bay, installed copper gutters with rain chains; updated other windows around the house, and replaced the roof with a lifetime stone coated steel roofing system. The owners feel like they live a new house without having to pack one box.
This homeowner needed to replace hail damaged siding. CK Builders removed the damaged siding, installed new vapor barrier, framed and installed a new Thermatru door to their deck, replaced windows in the back, repaired their Trex deck, and installed Diamond Kote prefinished wood siding.
Every home has a section where necessary addons scar the beauty and design. CK Builders takes great care to ensure that addon components are secure and draw minimal attention. Using closest match components, we are able to hide many pre-existing eye sores.
This Idaho couple was looking to completely overhaul the exterior of their home. CK Builders removed the front entry cover, extended the front roof line forward, installed beam accents, installed a Trex deck system, installed soffit and fascia, and replaced the roofing system with lifetime stone coated steel.
This landlord needed to update the exterior of their rental unit. CK Builders stripped the roof, redecked the house, replaced the roof with a Owens Corning 30 year architectural shingle, removed the particle siding, installed new wall sheathing and vapor barrier, installed Alside Prodigy Vinyl siding, installed soffit, fascia, porch lids, and beam wraps.
